Local is Lovely Winter Workshop

Local is Lovely Winter Workshop-51

The stars truly aligned for me to attend the Local is Lovely winter workshop this past weekend. It was sold out and I was already going to pro blogger, but I had been trying to attend a workshop for a while and just knew I had to be there.

I sold my conference ticket and I bargained with Sophie to only attend during the day and before I knew it was drinking bad roadside coffee on my way to Rydal, NSW.

You’d think after a weekend of art, styling, photography, food and in particular, writing, the words would be busting out of me.

But, I got nothing. In fact, it’s taken a few hours to just get the 3 paragraphs out that you see above. I am convinced that what I am experiencing is a complete overload of creativity that has made me rethink everything that I do. And that’s going to take a while to digest.

One thing I know for sure {hello, Oprah} is that I just want to be better. A better writer, stylist, cook, recipe developer and photographer.

In the meantime, take a look at these dreamy pics and try not to be jealous of the most delicious food I have ever eaten. That Sophie is going to be kind of a big deal one day. Kidding, obvs.

Thanks so much to Sophie Hansen, Luisa Brimble, Victoria Carey, Meghan Trousdale and all of the workshop attendees. It was so freaking ace.

What a cosy and picture perfect place! We missed you at PB but you were in the right place for you and your take home message was the same…do better, be better. I feel like you, overload and no words, I’m on holidays so am taking that as my ‘no blogging’ cue xx

Seriously Erin you are filled with the most amazing creativity, style and talent.
I absolutely relate to the desire to be ‘better’ – I hope you know how amazing you already are though, and that being better sometimes comes from lots of self love, reflection, gratitude and acceptance of how abundant in these things you already are xx

You are so talented, Erin. You capture things with a camera that the naked eye just can’t see. You’re already the most amazing writer, stylist, cook, recipe developer and photographer. If you have more inside of you, it’s a bit like Frozen, you just have to let it go. And when you do, I’ll be watching all the magic happen!
