If you’re reading this, it seems as though you have peeled yourself away from the Maltester Bunnies and Hot Cross Buns to come read this post. Good for you. I’m so glad you did cause I am pretty sure I have come up with an amazing idea. And no, it has nothing to do with getting Zayn back in 1D.
You know how after Easter you have SO much leftover chocolate? Or, um, maybe you don’t. Either way, how about you melt all of your Easter chocolate remnants down and make some DIY Chocolate Bars?
These is no recipe for this as such, you just melt the chocolate and pour into bar moulds. Then you sprinkle over your favourite filling. I made:
- Caramel Chip- crushed Werther’s Original.
- Salted Coconut- Shredded coconut and flaked salt.
- Peanut- chopped, salted peanuts.
- Chilli- finely sliced red chilli.
You could be totally fancy and temper the chocolate. I seriously had no time for THAT. In a bowl with short bursts in a microwave will do. Or a saucepan on low. I bought the moulds here.
